Pastoral care at Holmer Green Junior School is important to ensure your child feels happy and safe throughout their educational experience. A Pastoral Team’s role is to help, support and advise parents and carers who may have worries or concerns about their child.All staff have a responsibility and an important role to play in promoting and supporting the Mental health and Wellbeing of the children, and each other, in our community. We understand some children may need additional help to support their emotional needs at some point during their school life. Some of these emotional problems and behaviours can be supported within the school environment. If you think your child may benefit from some extra support, please encourage them to ‘check in’ with their year group support person.
